The Technology Transfer Office of the University of Western Macedonia provides support to the research and academic community of the University by recording research results, searching and highlighting potential opportunities for commercial exploitation of these results and searching for possible funding instruments for new research at the University.
The promotion of entrepreneurship in the university community is achieved through the establishment of spin-off companies and advisory support for the registration of Intellectual Property Rights.
In addition, the Office offers assistance to the University’s researchers in identifying technological demands and needs and in identifying the appropriate infrastructure for the development of research and innovation by creating and providing informational material and participating in national and international forums for development, innovation and market connection.
